Later it is revealed her family all died due the virus, antidote or faulty organs. To her disappointment, even after introducing cat fur, she has not got any response from the protagonist and feels lonely.

She somehow has some method to lure cat from their homes, if the protagonist bought a cat before cat fur is introduced to him, she will show interest at the cat and lure it outside, skinning it and showing the skin to him, claiming the skin is valuable and is a potent source of income, which later proves true, despite the protagonist may be unwilling to produce cat fur.
